Daphne & Andy :: Engagement

Monday morning was the first of three engagement shoots I had this week.  After a long winter of limited shooting I couldn’t be happier about shooting nearly everyday.  :)  Daphne & Andy have been together for 9 years, I’m pretty sure there isn’t a couple more ready to get married than these two.  They are so fun to be around and they both couldn’t stop smiling the entire time.  We headed to Valley Forge Park to grab some pretty cool pictures.

Lisa & Phil :: Wedding :: Aldie Mansion

This past Saturday I shot Lisa & Phil’s wedding at the beautiful Aldie Mansion in Doylestown.  Last year I donated a portrait session and Lisa & Phil were the winners.  They used the session to do their engagement pictures and from there they booked me to be their photographer for their wedding.  I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to work with.  Both Lisa & Phil along with their families were amazing, so easy to photograph and so full of laughs.

Lisa & Phil, I wish you guys all the best and I’m sure you guys are having an amazing time on your honeymoon!  Again, Congratulation!

The Lights of Chicago

Last week I had such a great time visiting family outside the city of Chicago.  I can’t wait to go back sometime soon.  My brother and his family live in the Midwest and it would be great to visit with them and to see more of the beautiful Midwest.

While I was out there we ventured into the city of Chicago a bunch of times and I thought I’d show a couple photos I grabbed.

Tori :: Senior Portraits :: Chicago

Last week I was out in the Chicago area visiting family.  While I was there I took my niece around the city of Chicago to get some senior portraits.  I LOVE Chicago!  I think the city is very clean and I was just so overwhelmed with how many great locations there are to shoot.  Tori is very beautiful and so photogenic, it was a breeze to get great photos.  :)

These first few were taken at her school’s tennis court.  She plays tennis and wanted a few shots on the court.  So fun! :)

I love this next one… cars were honking and Tori was getting whistled at.  We even got asked what magazine are these pictures are for.  We had a great time laughing about it!

And of course we had to head out to Adler Planitarium for a great view of the city…

June 30, 2009 - 8:22 pm Monica - WOW!!! She is absolutely stunning!! I love the one on the tennis court where you see her dress and fabulous heels! Amazing work as always!!!

June 29, 2009 - 8:15 am Il Sun - I think this is some of your best work yet! I love the composition in the 4th to last shot. Was she up on something or were you shooting from the ground? And what lens was that? And that last shot is awesome. Did you hand hold that shot or use a tripod? You need to tell me how to get night portraits like that!

Tori :: Senior Portraits

I had to throw one photo of my niece on the blog tonight.  So many more to come.  We had a fun time cruising around her home town and we will be going into Chicago in a couple days to do more.  I LOVE my job! :)

Tori, you are beautiful!

Amy & Wes :: Wedding :: Williamsport

I don’t have a lot of time to write as I’m currently out in the midwest but wanted to post last Saturday’s wedding in Williamsport, Pa.  I started out at the Holiday Inn where Amy and the ladies were getting ready.  We then headed to Park Place where Amy & Wes had their first glance at each other.

Candace & Jared :: Engagement

I couldn’t wait to blog this engagement session.  I didn’t have time to work on it all week and finally got to it today.  I spent an evening with Candace & Jared at Candace’s aunts house in New hope, Pa.  WOW… what a place!  The back yard was all we needed to get some really great images.  Their wedding is this July and after spending some time with this couple I know it’s going to be a lot of fun!  I love feeling like I hung out with some old friends.  :)

Danielle & Ryan :: Wedding :: Brookmere Vineyard

Danielle & Ryan’s wedding was special to me as Danielle’s dad is a very good friend of mine.  It meant so much to me to be a part of their wedding day and to be able to be there and capture Rick walking his daughter down the aisle!  In case you missed their engagement pictures which you can find here, they are an amazing couple to photograph.  They both have great smiles and are just so much fun to be around.  Their wedding was held at the beautiful Brookmere Winery and Vineyard Inn which is in Belleville, Pa.  So, if you’re wondering if I travel for weddings?  The answer is a big fat “YES”!  I love to visit new places and to use my creativity in different locations.

Danielle & Ryan, my hope is for the two of you,  along with your family and friends, to be able to relive your wedding day through the images I captured. Congratulations!
